How to make soft tortillas?

Chandler114 | May 28, 201903:14 PM     9

I like making everything from scratch and I have tried and tried to make my tortillas soft and pliable like they are at the store. I understand often when you make stuff at home it tastes different or is a little different than the store bought version because it lacks all the fake ingredients and chemicals. But mine always turn out stiff! Not like a chip but too stiff to really be a tortilla or roll up properly. Anyway, I don't like using baking soda or powder in my food, so how do I make them soft and pliable?? *I also like using a little whole wheat flour in mine. Thanks!
