Soft Mandel Bread Recipe

OK, i did post this much farther down, but am afraid Erica won't see it! Hope this is Ok...
This isn't, i'm sure, how my grandma would've made it, but they're really addictive. And the recipe does come from a friend's mom, who is Jewish, so...it's kinda close... Enjoy!

Here you go:
1 C sugar
3/4 C veg oil
2 eggs
2 1/2 C SELF RISING flour
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 C Currants

Mix all ingredients. Divide in thirds. In a greased (with oil) 9x13 pan, make 3 "snakes"
Bake at 325 for 25 min. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and return to oven for 5 min.
Cool 20 min, then slice diagonally. Remove from pan 20 min after that.
