Sodastream not so fizzy

plnelson | Dec 19, 201807:50 PM     8

I use store-bought canned seltzer water a lot, either drinking it plain or mixing it with fruit juices to goose orange or cranberry juice while at the same time lowering calories (because some of the volume is just fizzy water).

So I thought I would save some money and the inconvenience of having to buy boxes of these at the store and then recycle them by getting a Sodastream. But I'm disappointed that even at maximum fizz setting the Sodastream isn't nearly as fizzy as the store-bought cans of seltzer water. And various comments on the web seem to agree.

So my QUESTION is whether there is another product based on compressed CO2 that can give me the same fizziness as the canned product? Thanks in advance!
