Soda Pop & Cake Mix Report

munchkin1 | Mar 29, 201606:56 PM     1

You might recall I was going to try this. On hand I had spice cake mix and 12 oz. can of diet gingerale. I threw in a few handfuls of dried cranberries. Baked at 350 for 30 min. Sprinkled with a bit of sugar to dress it up. Surprisingly moist and good! I think for any flavor cake mix, I would just add plain club soda. It was somewhat too sweet (for me.) Very easy and fast in a pinch! Especially if kids are clamoring for cake. .
