I went to Snack Taverna last night for the first time and was quite pleased, so thank you to all who have recommended it in the past. To start with, we had taramasalata which was an excellent rendition of this dish and an appetizer of smoked trout, grapefruit, and candied walnuts. Really interesting combination of flavors that worked very nicely, although I thought that the sweet sauce was just a little too dominant. My mother had scallops as a main course which were very good. My main of skordalia-crusted cod was just ok, I thought. Dessert of greek yogurt with honey, semolina cake, spiced carrots, currants, and thyme was delicious. Nice space and really lovely service too!
