My first immersion blender was a PC (Canadian) brand that was very cheap and underpowered but would make hummus and pesto absolutely smooth & creamy. Unfortunately I worked it too hard and it broke. I then got a cusinart smart stick thinking it could only be better but alas with it the same dishes are mealy & not as smooth.
I know this is not a matter of cost, so can anyone recommend an immersion blender that is particularly good at producing a smooth result?
