When the base of my Brinkman smoker rusted out I cut the middle section to fit my Weber Smokey Joe. It works great. Today I cooked a 4 pound butt, a chicken, and "country ribs" (aka sliced butt).

With 3/4 chimney of charcoal it started at about 220 and slowly crept up to 250. After five hours I needed to add some charcoal. The chicken and "ribs" came off long ago, but the butt is still cooking. It's stalled at 165 and I'm hoping for 195 within the next two hours.
