Smoke-free in Buenos Aires

Peter | Feb 6, 2006 11:15 PM

I'm headed to Buenos Aires for a week later this month. I've dutifully read the various BA posts and have learned a lot about the eating possibilities. (Thanks, y'all!) But I still have a question...

I have an asthma-related lung condition that makes it impossible for me to be in a smoky environment. Now, I realize that this is summer in Argentina, and so eating outside will be a solution. Still, it might be raining and some of the places ch'ers like may not have tables outside. So some guidance, please. Are any chowhound favorites off limits to people like me? Are there any places with non-smoking facilities for a rainy day? Anything else I should know?

Thanks as always...
