I am looking for suggestions for (preferably) a patio, but am open to a gorgeous private room, wedding dinner in Vegas for 20-30 people who love to eat and drink. My first choice would be Bouchon patio but haven't been to Vegas in well over a year and know how much things can change in that amount of time! Want something other than the usual chicken/steak/fish entree selection for group dining. I want the beauty of greenery and twinkling white lights but the fun of a Vegas location! Price is not much of a factor, it's all about the food and the atmosphere!
Another patio idea might be the Veranda at the Four Seasons. The patio clearly holds more than 20-30, and I don't know if you would have sufficient bargaining power with your group, but I think it's worth a look. I know they do have private events there.
I really don't think there is a prettier patio than the one at Picasso in Bellagio. Inside the restaurant is gorgeous but sitting on the patio is really quite spectacular. People can debate the merits of the food, but I have always had very good to spectacular meals there. 20-30 people may present a challenge but depending on the time of year and what day of the week, you may be able to work something. It's worth a phone call.
Mr. Feldman's suggestion about the Veranda at the Four Seasons is also a good one. There are several areas outside, not just the Veranda, but the entire Four Seasons complex that could work beautifully.
I agree with Veranda, very pretty and consistently good food. I am not sure Bouchon could accommodate a group that size.
A couple of other ideas: there is a golf club on the Strip called Bali Hai that has a number of private rooms with patios. We did a party there for my parent's anniversary and they did a great job with food and bev, and the setting is quite nice.
If you are willing to venture off the strip, the patio at Marche Bacchus is terrific: it faces a little lake and is very romantic, and the food is great. It's a very nice atmosphere. Also off the strip is Vintner Grill, which also has a very nice patio area.
Also in the Venetian complex Morel's has a nice patio and across at the Wynn, the Country Club actually ha a nice patio as well (although I'm not sure it would accommodate thirty).
Finally, if you are looking for a more hipster feel, I'd consider Kerry Simon's place downtown: it has roof deck and is close to a lot of fun drinking establishments. It's called Carson Kitchen and the food is really very good.
Have a great wedding!
