After a string of grim service episodes at Slows Hq years ago, I swore to never return. I believe that my last visit even provoked my most vile insult, "This would be a hellavu place to open a restaurant!"
Last weekend we contemplated a visit to the scene of past service and vehicle burglary crimes ... when I remembered their To-Go storefront. All the goodness with less risk of a service meltdown.
I called in our order on Wednesday for Saturday afternoon pick-up, and braced for an anticipated calamity. On Friday I received a confirming/reminder call. A nice touch. Perhaps Slows has learned?
It was a defect-free experience. The order was correct; not a single snafu. It was ready on-time. No problems. No excuses. Just swipe, sign & go.
