Ski Shores Cafe:Outlaws and Pro Golfers

I'm seated comfortably at Ski Shores Cafe on a grassy plain overlooking a choppy Lake Austin.Chatting amiably with a pack of old school bikers who've joined together for the Roadrunners Vintage Motorcycle Rally I notice a band of workers[7] behind the bar staring intently at our table.Considering the general aesthetic of our group[tattooed ruffians]I think nothing of it until the security guard approaches:

"You could make my job a lot easier if you'd put the cap on the spring water and place it on the ground".His tone is conspiratorial, his voice hushed and urgent. He's vibrating slightly, manic and disturbed by the presence of the outlaw Ozarka bottle.I apologize and slowly....slowly put the bottle on the ground. His attention is distracted at that point by a Phil Mickelson looking guy who'd missed a trash can and tossed a can on the ground. He races off to deal with the fresh transgression....

How's the chow at Ski Shores? It's such a lovely venue I really need to make it out there more often.I remember ordering the "hand breaded chicken fingers"at last years rally and silently cursing the menu writer and the cook.

Not edible.

Tell me about the hidden gems on Ski Shores Cafes' menu please
