I've demolished everything including the kitchen sink without a plan for how to re-build it! So now I'm shopping and looking at getting a 24" wide Italian-made Verona gas range instead of the usual 30" wide range units.
Looking at the interior dimension of 18 1/4" wide x 15" deep x 13" high, I need to be sure it can fit a 10 or 12 lb turkey. Aside from bringing a sample turkey into the kitchen showroom to try it on for size, can anyone with a similarly size small oven attest to the roasting capacity of this type of compact appliance?
On paper, it seems the interior dimensions of said 24" wide Verona oven is BIGGER than the standard George Foreman interior (15" x 12" x 10") which claims a turkey roasting capacity of 16 lbs. I understand this is not a fair comparison, since this device has a rotisserie function, but it does give me some idea of how full the oven can get.
Any opinions on the performance of compact ovens is greatly appreciated. Thanks, hounds!
