Site fails to load stylesheets if you block GA/GTM

Tristor | Feb 3, 202107:52 PM     1

As many people do who care about privacy I block blatant user-hostile trackers like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. A recent redesign of Chowhound now has broke the site in such a way that you fail to load the CSS stylesheets when these trackers are blocked. Many CH users who are in the same situation as I am, like me, likely are not using the site as much due to this change.

Generally speaking, it is a best practice to build sites so that all content can successfully load, including stylesheets, with Javascript disabled.
