Sitar Reopen -- But Menu Is Lacking

sbp | Jun 14, 2005 10:27 AM

Sitar has finally re-opened. I stopped by to get a look at the menu. My wife LOVES their Baingan Dahiwala -- Eggplant in a yogurt curry.

Sadly, it's no longer on the menu. I asked if they could make it anyway, and they said no. The new menu features "pan-Asian" food (Thai dishes, some Chinese, Indonesian, etc.), but eliminates a good number of dishes that were uncommon in Indian joints around here. There is no more Chicken Hyberadabi (I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong, but it was an onion curry). Vegetarian dishes don't have their own section -- there are a few scattered about.

Oh well...
