Went to SinBaLa this past weekend (in lieu of watching the Super Bowl) - this is quickly becoming an addiction for me.

Typical Taiwanese joint that specializes in Taiwanese (read: NOT Cantoneses) sausages.

Sausage w/wasabi - crunchy, sweet and nose-clearingly succulent.

Scallion cake - crunchy and chewy and just salty enough to be eaten by itself but not too salty to be paired with other dishes (like the sausages)

Fried pork chop - almost like chicken fried steak w/o gravy, very tasty

tsa-jian mien (noodles w/brown sauce) - sweet and savory and the cucumbers were cool and crunchy.

Topped off the meal with some boba and shaved ice (heck, it was 85 degrees in SGV last weekend!)

Also took home a good ration of sausages and radish/daikon cakes (uncooked). Good stuff.
