I bought too many Valencia oranges last week, and yesterday I came into possession of a bag of rather small blood oranges (little bigger than a golf ball). Actually, the blood oranges were a bit disappointing--not very sweet, and mottled with orange instead of red throughout.
So I'm wondering: would marmalade be a good idea for these sub-par fruits? If so, does anyone have a simple recipe? I only want to make a small jar (8-12 oz).
Finally, would I use a combination of Valencia and Blood oranges, just one, or is it up to me?
