Silver City, NM -- Curious Kumquat to close

ninrn | Sep 14, 201511:12 AM     6

Very sad news--Rob Connoley, chef/owner of The Curious Kumquat in Silver City, NM, posted on his Facebook page that he has plans to close within a year for family/personal reasons.

If you haven't heard of The Curious Kumquat, here's a short blurb from Saveur: http://www.saveur.com/article/Travels....

I've been to a couple of pop-ups Chef Connoley did here in Albuquerque (amazing), but never to the restaurant. Time to schedule a field trip. This guy is far and away the most interesting chef in New Mexico. Hope all NM Chowhounds will have have a chance to visit before we lose this special place.
