Any opinions on Silks at Mandarin Oriental? When I was last there a few years ago, the preparations seemed too fussy. And I noticed it isn't mentioned in hotel DR recommendations.

Also what about cafe maritime on lombard?

I've only been to the Ritz for a wedding and thought the food so-so [lol too fussy or too bland, I guess I can be hard to please]. But overall I thought they did a very nice wedding, quite nicer than the Fairmont.

I had a nice meal at Kokkari, but was surprised at the priciness, because I always think of Greece as a cheap vacation destination. Although one of a few European countries that I haven't visited. Service was excellent. As was Silks service.

Did not at all like Little City's meatballs. My mom's [and my] traditional pork/beef/veal ones much, much better. Prolly too much basil for me.

Anyone tried the fairly new JCC restaurant on Presidio?

And sometimes I just prefer a prefrozen burger at a dive rather than a 4 inch deluxe burger.
