my parents live in the area, and eat at silk road all the time (which means that i eat there a lot of the time when visiting). i generally get the ground meat kabob, which is excellent there, but last night i went for the lamb chops, which were great. rich, flavorful, juicy. we also got the aushak dumplings, which were lovely, with nice thin skin and great mixed herb fillings. the dough (savory yogurt drink) was okay--less creamy than on previous visits. oh, and if you haven't been, they make amazing fresh bread.
the service is warm and friendly but scattered.
