I tried out one of those new silicone bundt pans tonight--got it at Sur La Table. I have been pleased with my silpat. I thought nothing was supposed to stick to this material. Well, guess not. I made a Guiness ginger cake from _The Last Course_, a recipe I have made numerous times--it's an oil cake. I had a lot of trouble getting it out of the mold, and when it finally did come out, a fairly big chunk of the cake stuck to the side of the pan. What went wrong?
