My Silicone Baking Mat Is Greasy, Part 2

sbbodcderf | Mar 6, 201912:34 PM     20

This subject has been discussed before. I purchased some AmazonBasics Silicone Baking Mats. They work fine so far, but cleaning them is an annoying chore.

I do a thorough job with dish soap, hot water, and a dish scrub brush, but they are still oily afterwards. The not only feel oily, but the oil actually will transfer
to my hands. I must clean them 2-3 time before the grease is satisfactorily removed.

Is this something common to silicone mats? Is there a better way to clean them? Is there another brand someone can recommend? I don't use the dishwasher, so that's not an option.
