Restaurants & Bars 2

Sietsema at the Minibar

Review at the link below. Sounds pretty wild -- "thrilling highs and a few crashing lows." 33 to 38 "courses"; $65 dollars (not including drinks and tip). As it happens, I stopped in today to inquire about seatings and availability. Seatings -- for six people only -- at 6 and 8 p.m. weekdays; 6, 8, and 10 on Friday and Saturday. The meal lasts two hours. Until today there has been no problem in landing a reservation (for instance, only two persons had reservations for this evening), but the review might change that.

Apparently, Andres and Fukushima are able to accommodate many dietary restrictions by changing things up a bit (e.g., no red meat), but "no raw fish" is probably not an option.
