I'm currently planning a trip to Florence and the Tuscan countryside for November and have heard widely divergent views on Siena. One school of thought views Siena as a fascinating, medieval dreamland while the other claims Siena is overrun with tourists and devoid of interest. I'd appreciate any thoughts on whether Siena is worth a night on our trip. Any dining tips for the Chianti, Montalcino or Montepulciano areas would be great, too. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
