Sidewalk Seating--ANY RECS?

Looking for nice sidewalk seating with good food. (Neighborhood and cuisine is irrelevant).

This mean that (you recommend the food and) there is: outdoor seating, a view of a busy sidewalk, a clear barrier between the cafe and the pedestrians, and more than just a few disorganized tables.

White Horse Tavern, Aix, Bar Pitti, and Da Silvano (despite the attutude there) are all good examples of nice sidewalk dining. Carmine 28 (with its great pizza but disorganized tables and no pedestrian barrier) is not.

(I ask because I hate dining in courtyard "gardens." IMHO, there is a usually a bad view and the risk of "creatures" at your feet.)
