We ended up at the B-side before a movie at Kendall this friday. Thank you so much for your recommendations. We loved this place. Mussels were great (I particularly liked addition of basil to the broth). Gouda in a skillet was simply addictive -- better than any fondue type thing I've ever had. We also got a mixed tapas plate for $19. It had 2 sweet potato empanadas, 2 shrimp, 2 beef skewers, quacamole, salsa, pickled cabbage, and tortillas. Shrimp were good, beef was too salty, sweet potato things sounded better than they tasted. Salsa, cabbage, and guacamole were great. I wouldn't get this plate again.
The drinks were outstanding. Particularly greyhound (vodka and grapefruit juice). Service was friendly and not stuffy, and they made sure to bring the dishes out one at a time so that we are not eating mussels with cheese. We shared a lovely pecan pie for dessert and left very full and happy :)
