Sicilian slice at Sromboli's

It's been a while since I've paid a visit to Stromboli's on 1st Ave/St. Marks, but it was the right thing just before the movies. Instead of my normal cheese slice, I decided to get the cheeseless sicilian slice -- bright red with only a tomato-y topping. While you can tell that your dealing with canned tomatoes and probably lots of garlic from a jar, it was a really good slice, heavy on the garlic, with a nice crunchy crust. It certainly hit the spot. This might become my regular place for a sicilian slice. I once praised Ben's in Soho for their sicilian slices, but the last couple times there, something was amiss.
