We will be in Sicily a couple of months from now, and are looking forward to the visit very much. I am particularly interested in raw seafood of all kinds, from bivalves, crustaceans, cephalopods to fish of all sorts as well as sea plants, composed and prepared or straight out of the water. I am guessing that many restaurants - and hopefully some markets - will have crudo dishes from the morning's catch, but your insight and guidance here would be very much appreciated. Any particular dishes or places that standout as true to this region? We will be there for about three days with a car. I remember watching Bourdain's episode from here that showed raw baby sardine dish called vionata which to me seems a perfect treat.
Many thanks in advance.
