Sicilian Pizza

Snookums | Apr 30, 2002 02:12 PM

Is there a place for good Sicilian/Neopolitan pizza in Brooklyn? I'm not referring to that overly thick, square stuff that is called Sicilian pizza here in New York. I want the georgeously thin, almost crispy crust, covered with a thin layer of high quality toppings, and baked in a wood oven - that is, the pizza available in Sicily.
I tried the pizza at Savoia on Smith St. a few weeks ago. It was as close as I've seen in Brooklyn, and it may have to be acceptable if I can't find a better one, but I'm hoping for one that is better. Any recommendations?
