Been meaning to post about this place for a long time.
It's on Emmons Ave in Sheepshead Bay. Can't vouch for the authenticity of the food(Thai), but I have never had a bad meal there. Last nite the wife and I had another good one. Kang Koong(shrimp in red curry sauce, although more like coconut curry broth) was delicious. Was so good, that even though there was no shrimp or vegetables left we took home the leftover curry sauce to use for some shrimp and veggies we have at home. The wife's beef penang was also in the same sort of red curry sauce/broth, equally delish. Though I'm not a meat eater, I did try a piece, the beef melted in my mouth it was so tender.
Apps were great too, tofu todd(we asked them to hold the garlic sauce and give us a side of plum sauce instead, was no problem), and fried veg dumplings.
Only complaint, and not much of a complaint at that, was the size of the margaritas, very small, for $4.50. But what the hell, I was driving and only had 2, so I guess I was all the better for it.
Whole thing with tax and tip was $50, not bad at all.
