I really don't expect to be able to add anything to what the experts have recently said but I was compelled to personally say how incredible Shuko was. It was without a doubt one of the greatest meals I have ever had. We had the longer menu and I added the Waygu beef course (GF is a vegeterian but they created a dish for her while I enjoyed my Waygu). The sushi courses were amazing, the choice of fish was a beautiful progression of tastes and as amazing as the sushi was the composed dishes (which came before the sushi)were absolutely incredible; and quite frankly beyond my ability to do them justice when describing.
The space is absolutely beautiful, minimalist but warm.
The service was wonderful; the interactions with the Chefs and the staff were delightful, the Sommeliers recommendations for wine and sake based upon a conversation of our likes and dislikes were spot on.
We were fortunate enough to snag a reservation prior to all the reviews but now it will probably be impossible to get in but I strongly encourage anyone with a love of exceptional food and service to try; you won't be disappointed.
