I am told by the management of my favorite Chinese Restaurant that they can no longer advertise "Shrimp in Lobster Sauce" on their menu. They can serve the same dish but the Board of Health is saying they can't call it that.
Lobster Sauce, as we all know, contains no lobster. But the officials say a lot of people don't know that and have complained. So the authorities have decided that the term can not be used.
The restaurant where I heard this has already changed the item's name to "Shrimp Cantonese Style" on its menu and they say all restaurants will have to make similar changes.
