Shrimp Dish

Several years ago, there was a place called Maxien's on Earhart Blvd. There was an open kitchen and anyone seated at the counter could see the food being prepared. There was one dish that was rather unique. As I recall it, a frying pan was heated and then butter, lemon, garlic and Lee and Perrin sauce mixed in. Into that was a dozen or so large shrimp, unpeeled. So far it looks like a Bar-B q shrimp version, but then he would add water and salt pepper and a little tabasco sauce. The shrimp would boil in the mixtuer and then would soak and cool. Place on a plate on lettce. it looked exactly like any boiled shrimp, but tasted like bar-B Q shrimp with out the sauce. Very good. I tried it at home on occasions and it came out good. Does anyone know the name of this dish? Any where it is served ?
