Discovered shrimp cake at Pho Viet in San Rafael. I love the texture of the fried skin (is it tofu or rice paper?) and the chewiness of the shrimp texture.
Ordered same thing at Binh Minh Quan in Oakland and was disappointed to find it full of water chestnut.
Does anyone know of a place in Oakland that makes this shrimp cake without water chestnuts? TIA.
