We recently has another wonderful meal at Elizabeth's located in the back end of Pittsfield. Not a great location but consistently excellent food with an Italian bentq, mostly vegetarian with some meat based specials. I had a creamy polenta with a locally sourced roasted vegetable enriched tomato sauce with Berkshires sausage and wonderful wild mushrooms. All entrees come with a family style salad , in a huge bowl for the four of us, and are $22 bucks. Excellent bread , a small but nice and reasonably priced wine list.
Service is casual but attentive, the owner comes by to chat. An unpretentious delight.
