My gf and I wanted to try Lizzy's ice cream in Waltham this Friday, and we were planning on dinner at Oleana beforehand. But then I had the brilliant idea that we should eat dinner in Waltham, since that will be where we end up later anyway. (A revolutionary idea, I know.) Anyway, when I suggested this, my gf said with her nose in the air, "Are you sure about that?" And I assured her that there are *plenty* of great places to eat in Waltham. The problem is that the last place I insisted we try turned out to be a bad move (Neighborhood Resto and Bakery in Union Sq--terrible). So I'm on shaky ground with her. I need to redeem myself. I've read all the posts I can find, and I'm torn between Campania, Carambola, Tuscan Grille, and Ritcey's. Of these, which is best? Or is there someplace we'd enjoy more? We aren't looking for super expensive (no Il Capriccio) nor holes in the wall. Someplace comfortable, mid-range prices, *great* food. Easy to find would be a plus too. For more idea of what we'd like, our current favorites are Punjab in Arlington, eat in Somerville, and Pomodoro in the North End. Thanks in advance!
