I'm wondering -- has anyone ever used frozen grated potatoes for making latkes? I'm referring to the potatoes sold in the supermarket for making hash browns.
Latkes are the one thing on my Hanukkah menu that always holds up the meal because I do them from scratch just before serving time. If those frozen potatoes can work as a substitute for peeling, grating and draining, what a time-saver that would be -- just add in the onions, matzoh meal, eggs, salt and pepper and fry! Thoughts...?
