Short Weekend in LA Part II

First of all, I have to say you guys are awesome. You all must be displaced Midwesterners, because you certainly don't fit the stereotype of detached Southern Californians. Seriously, thanks for all your thoughtful suggestions.

Based on your input and some additional research, I've started to formulate an itinerary. Here's what I'm thinking:

Fri 12N Check into downtown Hotel

Fri 1230P Head out to San Marino for a visit to the Hunnington. (Note: Last year, I spent a magical afternoon visiting the Getty - outside & inside - I'm looking for something similar this year.)

Fri 1P Lunch at the Hunnington Tea Room

Fri 2-4P Visit exhibits and tour grounds of Hunnington

Fri 5P Head to Santa Monica, visit the Pier, checkout Pacific Park. Drinks at the Lobster?

Fri 7P Dinner somewhere in Santa Monica / Venice area.
Possibly Joes? any other suggestions? I'm looking for interesting cuisine, local atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Fri 830P Drive around Venice, check out canals and ocean park historic district

Fri 10P Back to the Hotel, possibly go out for drinks somewhere.

Sat 10A Breakfast Downtown. I had a good meal at the Pantry last year. I would go back again, but I'd also be up for something else along the same lines. Is Pacific Dining Car similar?

Sat 1130A Visit & Tour Disney Concert Hall

Sat 1230P Lunch Downtown. Suggestions?

Sat 130P-3P Visit Downtown MOCA

Sat 4P-7P Head to Silverlake, visit A&D Museum and Schindler Center, possibly stop by Sunset Junction Street Fair

Sat 8P Dinner in Silverlake area. Cirxa? Other suggestions?

Sat 10P Drinks in Silverlake or somewhere nearby. Suggestions?

Am I missing anything? Should I edit out stuff? I'm grateful for any input. Thanks.
