Short Ribs "Grilled" on the stove? HELP Last Minute Advice needed

Sooo I was overly optimistic about the weather - I REALLY wanted to grill today but alas it is rather miserable and windy and I did not even get the yard set up so it will be stovetop tonight

I have a crock of short ribs (with bones) marinating in the fridge for dinner

The marinade is Asian inspired - Fujian wine, mustard, brown sugar and soy among other things

I don't think this will translate well to a braise

What's my best approach to get a good result with the range

Broil in a half sheet pan?
Brown in a CI skillet then Low & Slow in oven?
Korean style stovetop grill (I have never used the thing its dome shaped and has a spout?
The much despised grill pan?

I have cauliflower for a side and am thinking noodles in a peanut sauce

and yes, I know, dinner will be done late.. its ok

any thoughts appreciated!
