Shopsys-Update:Plus:Marche,And Bloor Street Diner

Ok,time for a few updates. How is Shopsy's? Well,I don't go to the other locations, only the Front Street location. Last time I was there less than two weeks ago,(busy Sunday afternoon, service kind of slow) I had a hot tongue sandwitch-It was just a treat!!! Wonderful bread. Coffee(second cup) ok. The french fries and pickle were as good as in the old days. Ah,but wait!-Why doesn't Shopsy's bring back their sublime (now extinct) drink-Shopsy's "Red Pop Soda"!!!! And please bring back the old favorite:Mushroom+ Barley Soup!! The current one is a poor 21st century version!! I wish the Roast-Beef would still be served with Russian Dressing, and Cheese!! and Rare too!! Now,on to Marche. (Downtown-Front+Yonge) Still great place!! The stir-fries are really going "Bam!!" The Steaks are still as good as ever. The Chicken-Cornish Hen-Now that's meal, and a super-good one...Coffee is a strong point. But desserts:=well,well,well-!! What a variety!! How mouth-watering!! The pastas also are always very good. Inventive too. The soups-ok. There is such a terrific variety, and to walk around and watch everything being prepared in front of you,is always fun. Bloor Street Diner:Still unforgettable Prime Rib!! I have cousins from Cherry Hill,New Jersey, who really love prime rib-I may take them to Bloor Street Diner!! Only The Pub in Cherry Hill New Jersey is better for prime rib!! As for Chez Piggy, stay tuned for the next chapter. oh-one negative word:Four Seasons Studio Cafe-BLLEEECCCHHH!!!! (Sorry,I couldn't resist) The new menu+ chef there-good grief!! I suppose next they'll introduce "Lion Steak",with Horse-chestnuts+Garlic,With Creamed Skunk-Cabbage+Ragweed!!!
