Shopping Suggestions for Housewares, Gourmet Ingredients, Cooking Resource Stores

jerryc123 | Feb 9, 201509:15 PM     5

My wife and I are seasoned cooks who travel to NY a few times a year. I've not been paying attention to food media regarding new store openings and feel a bit out of touch. I'm looking for suggestions for housewares stores, cookbook stores, ingredients, etc. Over the years, we've hit all the well-known standard-bearers... Dean & Deluca, Citarella, Zabars, ChelseaMarket, Eataly, Bridge, Broadway Panhandler, JB Prince, KamMan, etc. I'm looking for newer, or lesser known places, perhaps smaller treasures with a local vibe. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
