Just thought I would make a quick post about a great lunch that I had yesterday at Shiroi Hana. I find their sushi to be consistently good, and one of the more reasonably priced options in the city. Their sushi lunch specials however are incredible -- for $12 you can pick three different sushi options (3 sashimi or 2 hand rolls or 3 sushi with 3 cucumber roll pieces or 6 piece california roll). No substitutions are allowed. I had 3 pieces of sashimi, 1 piece of mackerel sushi, 1 piece salmon sushi, 1 piece whitefish sushi, a tuna handroll, salmon skin handroll and 3 pieces of a cucumber roll for lunch. The specials are also served with soup or salad. I didn't spend a large amount of time looking at the non-sushi options, but it looked like they had a bento box lunch special and other good deals too. And I was actually full, which doesn't always happen on a sushi lunch.
