In the bay area, Shanghai Garden/Chef Zhao are greasy. However, other Shanghainese restaurants that I like -- Happy Cafe in San Mateo (RIP) and Shanghai Flavor Shop aren't.
Is Shanghainese food greasy, or is it just Shanghai Garden/Chef Zhao?
Some yelp reviewers complain about greasiness of Shanghai Garden/Chef Zhao, but most don't mind -- do most people not mind greasiness? I feel unpleasant afterwards.
