Kirk sent me this email to see if there is any interest in having a Dinner Party at the New Shanghai Szechuan in which he and his wife visited and gave rave reviews.
Jeff - After speaking to Chef Liu, and checking the boards real
quickly...this is what I got.
Chef Liu wants to make sure that his dishes are created and eaten under
best possible circumstances... so he'd request:
- Seating before 6pm....he does all the szechuan cooking personally, so
busier the restaurant is the harder it is to cook and time all the
- No more than 12 people - that would include my wife (the interpreter)
myself. If this seems like it's a "hit" I'm sure we can do it again
