Shadi's in Methuen- review

We had lunch there today on Patrick's reccomendation.
It's really very good and will go back when we are in the area again. (after Napoli's in Lawrence, thanks HwyStar)

I had lamb kebob, house salad and rice. The lamb came on a skewer accompanied by crisp grilled onion. The lamb was moist, tender and most have been marinated in a sauce.
The rice had a hint of maybe, cinnamon?
My husband had the Arabic platter which included Kibbe, grape leaves and stuffed cabbage. The kibbe was really good. The only other times I've had it at the Middle East in Cambridge, its always been dry. He was impressed by the mixed vegetables that he ordered. They were fresh vegetables and not overcooked. Good pita, too.
Two lunches w/ soda came to $21.
The waiter was friendly and atttentive.
Really, it was as good or better than the Greek/Mid-Eastern places we frequent in Cambridge.
BTW, its on Osgood St.
