My wife and I just returned from a trip to Japan....sushi was of course wonderful but what really shocked me was just how much I love shabu-shabu.
For those of you not already in the know, shabu-shabu means "swish-swish," referring to the swishing action when you cook a very thin slice of beef in hot water. I have had shabu shabu a few time here in the "states" but, it wasnt until our trip to Japan that I realized just how good it could be.
Soooo....here's my questions Chowhounds, Where is (are) the best places in the bay area to get Shabu Shabu.
Help me please - I need a fix!
