Sfogliatelle in the Valley?

Das Ubergeek | Oct 28, 2005 01:29 AM

I may have posted this already, but I can't find it using the search feature... my apologies is this is a duplicate.

I know that Nicolosi's on Ventura and White Oak in Encino sell sfogliatelle (shfool-ya-DELL), the shell-shaped Italian phyllo pastries filled with sweetened semolina cream. They were a staple of life in New Jersey, but it's hard to get out to Encino, and occasionally they only have two or three when I need a dozen for a meeting or whatever.

What other places sell sfogliatelle? I'm looking for fresh, not boxed-the-day-before, if possible.
