Looking for SF Walking Foodie Neighborhoods

winedude | Feb 26, 201510:18 AM     17

We're former SF-ers, visiting for a couple of weeks, and taking daily strolls around neighborhoods in search of foodie treats. Already walked the lengths of Chestnut and Union (best treat was chocolate croissant from Le Marais), Upper Fillmore from Jackson down to State Bird Provisions (Stumptown coffee at Jane), Valencia from Market to 20th St. (Four Barrel and Craftsman and Wolves), and 16th and Guerrero corridor (Tartine!). Also walked California from Fillmore to Spruce, loved B Patisserie, and walked Hayes Valley, really liked Ritual and Smitten.

What's next for us? Is there any area in SOMA that's good to park and walk? Potrero Hill or Dogpatch? We're planning on walking 24th St. soon, but all suggestions appreciated!
