SF Viet Crab comparisons, suggestion?

I have been to PPQ, La Vie amd Thanh Long. I won't go back to TL. The crab was prepared skillfully at both other places, equally fresh, and about the same price. The PPQ peppery version is so good, buttery, garlicky, lip smacking. The LV version has so much garlic (seems like it was mixed with bread crumbs and sugar, but not pepper) you can spoon huge mounds of it directly into your mouth. An amazing treat.

My standard order with the roast crab is the garlic noodles and cabbage salad. I think the salad is better at PPQ (fresh basil & mint, less sugar, has tofu) and the noodles are better at La Vie (less greasy and did not congeal on the plate 5 minutes after they arrived).

So, I am considering trying Yummy Yummy on Irving (love their octopus salad) and New Loi's on Taraval (good bun). Any opinions on their roast crab and other items? Where else would you try in the Richmond or Sunset? Vietnamese only, please!
