SF Union Square-ish...ISO great food, atmosphere, various cuisines, more detail...

Nicola | Jan 28, 200610:41 PM     1

My husband and I will be in SF for our anniversary, staying in Union Square (will walk or take cabs) Feb. 10 & 11th. Looking for a place to go for dinner with a lively scene (we're both 30), great service, and of course great food! Not sushi fans, don't eat pork, I prefer white flaky fish or crabcakes when I go out, or Thai food. Husband likes most meats, fish or poultry. Looked at Myth but it seems to be full that weekend. One night we would like a more upscale "scene", the other more of a neighborhood-y place. Under $30 for entrees. Cheaper lunch recs and wine bars or bars with food appreciated, too. THANKS!!!
