Okay, I'm an L.A. Chowhound, and I'm heading up to San Francisco this weekend. I saw the Cook's Tour show a while back, where Tony Bourdain had oysters, and crabs at a place he said only locals know of, in an out-of-the-way location in the heart of San Francisco. As I recall, I think it might have been the same joint Rachael Ray did on her San Francisco's $40/day show. The place looks like it only has a long bar with burly longshoremen types behind the counter dishing up steamed crabs and shucked oysters. And it sounds great!
Anyone know of this place? If it is the place locals go, I'd be willing to bet you SF Chowhounds would know about it. And if it weren't that great, I'd expect you'd warn me about it and suggest some place better?!
